Hi!
I'm Kuba, a Computer Science student with a passion for innovation. I thrive on bringing creative ideas and am determined enough to make them happen.
My Journey
During my first year of study, a professor noticed my potential and recommended me to his supervisors. That's how I started working as a Software Engineer in Biometric Californian startup - Tascent. My journey began with fixing bugs on a Linux device. I then transitioned to developing a proof-of-concept backend in GoLang, a language I quickly grew to love for its minimalistic style. The highlight of my time at Tascent was creating software to remove undesirable parts from short videos. With guidance from my mentor, I modified an existing annotation tool, prepared data, trained a model, validated it, and developed a tool that used predictions to identify unwanted segments.
Next, I moved to Fream, where I worked on developing a backend system for a feeding project. Unfortunately, this project was shut down by the client.
Current Focus
Now, I am dedicated to my own projects, competing in hackathons, and collaborating with the Pipelon and Citified teams. I continuously challenge myself to expand my knowledge and skills.
